I do not really have a big fancy prewriting process. I just think of what i can the subtopics in the body paragraphs can be, get on the computer and go. For me this seems to work. I like this pre write because it makes the essay easy for me to complete in a way that i know how. Using a pre-write is good but in some cases it could have the opposite effect. It refreshes your memory when you hit a "writers block" but if you are on a roll and going fast it could kill your speed. Looking at the pre-write could make you forget where you were going and change the structure. For me myself i think my pre-write is just fine
